The Karijini National park was formally known as Hamersley National park situated in the Hamersley Ranges in northwestern Australia. The park is situated just north of the Tropic of Capricorn, just 1,055 km away from the State's capital city, Perth. The Karijini National park is the second biggest National park in Western Australia covered the area of approximate 627,442 hectares.
