I applied for a Frontier CC. When I realized it had a $99 annual fee I called the number and requested to have it closed. The woman I spoke to did not speak English well and was cinstantly talking to another girl who was prompting her and singing in between. I asked to have my account closed. Woman #1 asked #2 who told her to tell me they would remove th $99. I explained I did not want anything else, but my account closed. #1 put me on hold and told me to use it for 30 days and then it would be closed. Again I said NO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. Again on hold talkimg to #2. #1 said she would have to read me the CLOSING document info. Three sentences later and I told her what she was reading the OPENING AN Acccount info. She then said and I quote IT DOES NOT MATTER I HAVE TO READ BOTH. I then requested a closed account letter. Never arrived. Now I find out the credit card is NOT closed. I am furious and want the account closed immediately. Very poor customer srvice.

I have been trying to transfer my late mothers smart investor account in to my name. I first contacted Barclays in November 2019. I wrote a letter of complaint in February 2020 and absolutely nothing was done despite several letters and numerous phone calls and even personal visits when lockdown ended. A further letter of complaint to the CEO in February 2021 yielded some results, but it still took until July 2021 until the assets were finally transferred. They have finally conceded that this has fallen below their expected standard of service, but have only awarded a small compensation payout dating from April 2021 when in fact I first requested the transfer some 16 months previously. An utter nightmare and I have since sold my Barclays shareholding since a company which is so grossly inefficient and uncaring about its customers is not one in which to invest.

Barclay just bought out my Chase AARP credit card. I need information in order to pay the bill brought over from Chase. I have been on hold for 42 minutes so far. Barclay bought out the account, but now will gain nothing since I will close the account. Who has time to be put on hold 42 minutes to get questions answered?
