Waqar Younis Maitla HI is a Pakistani cricket coach, commentator and former cricketer who captained Pakistan national cricket team. A right-arm fast bowler, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers of all time. He is the former head coach of the Pakistani cricket team. Younis became popular with English audiences in the early 1990s when he played for Surrey. In 1991, he took 113 wickets in 582 overs, which was the top first-class bowling average for the season.
