Warushavithana Upul Tharanga, commonly known as Upul Tharanga is a former professional Sri Lankan cricketer. A former limited-overs captain, Tharanga played all formats of the game. He was a left-handed opening batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He started his cricket career as a teenager at his school.
