As visitors to your country, and, specifically, Seattle, WA from South Africa, my husband and I had occasion to seek OTC)over the counter) medication from the Pharmacist at Rite Aid on California Avenue SW, Seattle last week. My husband had developed a nasty cold and sinus problem, and after doing a DIY covid test which was negative, I asked the Pharmacist if she could recommend something to dry up his sinuses as his nose was constantly streaming. There was nothing on the shelf that would be suitable, so she suggested we use Sudafed, which can only be given via the dispensary. As we did not carry any ID with us at that moment, and were only living across the street, we returned with my husband's passport as his only form of ID being carried on him at this time, as a visitor and not a resident. We were told that as we did not have proper ID that could be scanned we could not be given the medication and that my husband's passport was considered insufficient identification. -:.

I am writing about the total lack of professionalism in the pharmacy in the Manasquan Rite Aid in NJ. They don not answer the phone (had to call four times) and got annoyed when I asked what happened to the script i sent in yesterday. The response was your doctor did not respond. This is the second script in the last two weeks that I was told it's your doctor's fault. I called the doctor's office while in the store last time and they told me they never received anything from Rite Aid. I was already two days without diabetic meds at that point (metformin). I gave Rite Aid the benefit of the doubt, but now a second time? The woman pharmacist was nasty to me over the phone, and she told me that they only call the doctors as a courtesy. I have never had a pharmacist tell me that in my 73 years alive. Instead of offering me a few pills to get by I got combative language. Very rude, very unprofessional and i will be taking my business else ware asap.

If you people do not do something with the Rittman, Oh. Store you are going to lose customers. You can not get your prescription filled for two to three and sometimes four days. Either get some help or shut the store down. They won't answer the phone and close the inside of the pharmacy and only use the drive through lined up around the whole store. (And no we are not on lockdown) Get something done.

I am writing about the lack of professional of the pharmacist at the store in the Resort Plaza, Blairsville, PA. Several weeks ago my husband and I went there at approximately 2:30pm on a Sat to get the walk in Covid shot. He asked if we had an appointment, which as said we were there as a walk in. He proceeded to tell us that he was not opening a bottle for just two shots and we would need to make an appointment. So after leaving the store and going on line to make two appointments for the next day. The one appointment I tried to make was for 10:00 am the site would not give me an authorization so I tried again, but the 10:00 time was not showing as available so I did the 10:20 time. Still no authorization. We then went back to the store the next day at those times and were told that we did not have any appointments and he was not doing walk in until 4:00 pm. And he could not give us shots that were scheduled for someone that had an appointment. This store closes early on a Sunday.
