In 1994, the Florida Constitution was amended to ban net fishing, but the League of Women Voters decided this issue did not warrant discussion or debate. In 1995, I asked the League for an explanation of this, and I was promised a reply. I am still waiting for that explanation

Also, in this action the League supported about 20% of the electorate removing rights of commercial fishing families, and these rights had been established for centuries under British common law. Thus how dare the League make the bogus claim of supporting rights of citizens?

It is may 8, 2020, and i have been waiting since 1995 for an explanation from the league of women voters for their stifling of debate on the net ban amendment to the florida constitution.
