Went to JC Penney today at the Galleria in Birmingham, Ala. There is no customer service at all. Had to walk all over the store looking for a place to purchase an item. It's like they do not want your money. Nice things to purchase, but didn't want to since it was like herding cats to find someone to take my money. One checkout on 2nd floor and one on first floor. Lines at both. Wanted to look around at clothes, etc. But decided not to since I wasn't sure I'd be able to pay for the items. Why put out the merchandise if there is no way to pay for it in the store? Either close the doors or hire more sales associates.

To whom it may concern. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico and recently I have been shopping at JC Penny's in the Santa Fe mall. I am so impressed how the store has so improved in customer services. Ashley, I think works in the jewelry department was very helpful and really caring toward the other customers and myself. If your wonderful service continues JCPenny's will be the only place where people will want to shop. I am telling all my friend go shopping at JCPenny's as they have really cute clothes, purses, and even a makeup department. As soom as I pay my JCPenny's off I will go back and buy alot of clothes, shoes, makeup every thing. To Whom it may Concern; I bought some Arizona blue jeans last month paid cash. I took them home wore them once and washed them. When I took them out of the dryer I folded them and put them away. When I pulled them out and put them on I was putting on my belt and noticed that one of the belt loops was broke. I took them to the store in Redlands,Ca and the clerk told me that he could not return them without a receipt. I shop at JC Penny's all the time, and never had this problem before returning something. There was a big line and I was embarrassed trying to return and just trying to get a replacement pair. I am disabled and on a fixed income and when I buy something I hope that it lasts for a little time. Now to get the loop fixed will cost $10.00 and the pants are new. JCP and GE or Synchorny Bank is one of the worst corporations I have ever had to deal with. I have spent the last seven hours on the phone trying to get my issue resolved and everyone I speak to points to someone else. No one seems to know what is going on here. Well I know what's going on. Once JCP and the bank that services them get your money they want nothing further to do with you. This corporation is one of the biggest scam joints ever. I will never shop in a JCP or use a MasterCard product again. The only reason I rated them so highly is that a negative number was not available. The last guy, Micheal did not even know how to cancel a call. Talk about incompetance I intend to call as far up the chain as I have to - wholescale theft is unacceptable.

I issued a complaint last week over the Michael Strahan shorts. I made an initial purchase of two pair of shorts, one pair in the dark gray (heather) and a second pair in the off white ( bc01 heather). I tried them on when I got home and they fit nice. I put my hand in the right front pocket and it went straight thru. I took the bc01 Heather back to the store the next day for exchange since the bottom of the pocket was not sewn. Of course they did not have another pair in this color so I started looking at the light brown, and found a pair in my size. I could not verify that the bottom of the pocket was sewn together or not due to the fact that the top of the pocket was sewn closed. I immediately asked for the store manager since I felt that this was too many defects for such a small sample of product. Two woman came down and introduced themselves as store mgmt. I would like to mention a manager that recently went above and beyond her duties, i was working in the jcp store in Trumbull ct. One day when i noticed a male attacking his girl friend, i quickly shouted at him to stop, he did then i noticed a manager come out of the corner where she was working, she came to help the women, then followed the male out of the store, with the women behind her. They got to the vehicle, then the manager tried to get the women to not to get into the car with him,, but she did. Crystal, the store asst. Manager did what ever it took to look after the customer, to this day, she has not received any recognition for her bravery, compassion towards others. This is what I call a GREAT employee.

This is information on your store in Fort Smith, Arkansas. About two weeks ago my husband and I went to the Fort Smith store to purchase window treatments for 19 windows in our new house. After waiting in that department for around ten minutes, I walked around in search of a salesperson. Finally, a young boy dressed like a hobo asked me if I was finding what I needed. I told him where I needed help and he said he would be there soon. He never returned. After 20 more minutes we left and made our purchase at Lowe's. While we were in the store, the music was very loud and annoying. The customers who were shopping were mostly middle-aged, but the music was for kids. I called customer service on the phone and they turned it down slightly. As we were leaving, we noticed it had already been turned up to very loud again. We spent $1900 at Lowe's that could hVe been spent with your store. We probably won't be back.

I wish I could give negative stars. I ordered a mattress on 5/28/16, it says it was shipped on 6/6/16. There is still no tracking information for it and now they have lost the order. There have been ten calls made to the furniture department, each time with a promised call back that has never happened. It is now 6/25/16 still no mattress, still sleeping on an air mattress at home. I talked to a man named Kaylon (the floor manager in Miluake) yesterday, which after being zero help I asked to speak with his supervisor. He claimed that he has no supervisor and that there was no one else to talk to. There's always someone else to talk to. I asked if they could just ship me a different mattress (the same one, just a different one, since they couldn't find it), but this was unable to be done as well. Kaylon and the girl I talked to first sounded like they were on drugs which I eventually asked him if he was. After a long pause he said, "Uhhh no, " still sounding stoned.

Iv been with the company overall for 10+ years and been denined from store 2. The store mananger is RASIST, he wont allow a WHITE even to be an M. A., when I have more experience than anyone he has previously employed in that position and looking for that position. I do not speak spanish and the reason while i feel like I am being denined that position, when I should and can fill any supervisor position there, better than most. I'v also heard the Store manager CHAPA tell another assosiate that was asking for a raise that she would not get one because another will come in here and do it for less of a wage". Who the hell says that.

I have been coming to the jcpenney hair salon at the Arden Mall for quite some time now seeing my regular stylist Tianna who is one of the best stylists I have had in my experience of having my hair done, I only trust her. I was at the mall and decied to swing by and book my appointment for the month and when I arrived a stylist named Seth greeted me when I walked into the salon area, I told him I was looking to book my upcoming appointment with Tianna while I was here, he looked confused stating he doesn't know a stylist named Tianna and that no one works there by that name or description. He asked can I do your hair? I replied that I only came here for Tianna and that I would just text her to see what was going on. He quickly replied back 'oh tianna she does work here. ' I find this stylists behavior to be very unprofessional considering he was trying to make me believe my stylist was no longer there. Tianna IS still there, without her I wouldn't do my hair here.

I want corporate to know that your Town East mall location, specifically Womens fine dress department on 2nd floor, is an embarrassment to your organization. My daughter and I were there the evening of may16th, . The sales floor and women's dressing room was filthy, and there were literally piles if clothes laying around. Most thrift stores ive been to have cleaner dressing rooms and selling floors than your mesquite location. I will not be back.

Just my two cents on JCP coupon exclusions; I do not see what possible difference it makes what JCP
gives $10 off $25 purchase when we are buying clearance merchadise. Once again (3rd time this year because I keep forgetting this stipulation) I put back a pair of clearance tennis shoes because they can not accept dollar off or percentage off coupons for name brand athletic shoes. I just do not see where this helps the bottom line-- I would have spent easily another $150 dollars in the past year, but I won't on the principle of the thing. It is a trifling policy that needs to be corrected: clearance is clearance. Never contacted or dealt with corporate so I do not have a basis for a rating-- I'm kind of tired of this please rate everything. My salesperson. My purchase. Enough already.

First off--I have been a loyal JCP customer for many years. I am upset by the way I have been treated. I called with a problem. I receive coupons in my email and the link to print the coupon does not work. I used to print these all the time. The last two coupons I have received will not PRINT. I was placed on hold by a rude agent and then listened to annoying music for five minutes before I was cut off.

My sister works for JCpenney Richmond, Ca. Shes been there two years. And although the team is a diverse group, that reflects the community, the store looks absolutely terrible. I am talking structurally and aesthetically. Its a shame that this team has to work NO AIR CONDITIONING AT WORK?? Summer temperatures hit early here, and nobody should suffer in intense work conditions while at work. Is it because the staff is all people of color, that they can tolerate these conditions? Do something immediately. Otherwise I will bring this issue to the BBB.

JC Penney has gotten the last order of furniture out of me. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a human being to speak to you. I got one once and she put me on hold for one second (10 minutes then I hung up) while I listened to this maddening music. Your customer service and availability to customers leaves much to be desired. I will NEVER order another piece of furniture from JC Penneys ever again. It's been six weeks since we went into the store and ordered a sleeper chair 1/2 and now cannot get anyone to help us with anything. Also, the price of the item is not so special that it would draw me back in. I'm done with JC Penney furniture, so BEWARE, anyone thinking about ordering from them. I bought my husband a recliner for Christmas and it took eight weeks. There is nothing special about it and is not well made.

Dear JCPenney, My son could create a better website for you. Honestly, I am so appalled by the recent headline regarding rebranding via an eye catcher skirt, advertised as the Period Skirt. You are kidding right, I cannot believe that your new CEO thinks this was a good idea. Apparently the ad people, the buyers, and every other person involved is living on Mars. I can tell you in about 15 minutes what is wrong with your stores, how to save the sinking ship, and mostly why you lost the farm to begin with. Overhead, overhead, overhead, real estate, real estate, real estate, lackluster product lines. And how about an online catalog circa today. You are paying too much for advertising in the wrong places, with poor placements, and who the hell needs huge newspaper inserts anymore. Ie. Incentives for high end jewelry are nice,, but you are not a jewelry store. Good luck and hire some people who have experience/succes in this business. Make people want to work at JCP.

I am no longer doing business with you. The last time I called to place an order and the lady told me that they do not ship to P. O. Boxes. I have had this P. O. Box since 2001 and JC Pennys sent orders there for all that time. The United States Postal Service DOES NOT deliver to my house. I made a deal with Lindly's Hardware in Jay, OK to have order sent there such as Scentsy. Today I tried to order some women's capris and put my name, Lindly's Hardware and the entire address. The form would not accept the business name. I have enough trouble in my life so, I'm done with your company. Thanks for all the years that you did a good service.

This is regarding the JC Penney store located at Golf Mill Shopping Center, Niles, Il

I always shopped this store and it used to be a great store until lately. The shoe department, both women and men's shoes are terrible. The floors were dirty with debris on the floors and employees just do not seem to see this. A male clerk was yelling at a customer (on Monday). There was some confusion with shoes she purchased and the price. He was raising his voice and she was clearly upset. This certainly should not be tolerated. The store was overstocked with merchandise and was looking like a junk shop. Isn't there managers that can oversee this. Anyway, I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this store anytime soon. Thank you. (This probably will not go anywhere,, but I just had to voice my opinion).

I contacted the Corp offices to hopefully get some resolution with a living room chair I ordered. The Corp representative was more interested in defending JCP rather than listening to the issues. Buyer beware.

I have been a customer for over 40 years and a JCPenney credit card customer for over 20 years. I called your corporate office number, 1-972-431-1362 in Plano, TX to speak to someone about a problem order I placed online. I told the receptionist that I wanted to file a complaint and she put me on hold. Then, I was returned to customer service, which is where the problem began. I called back and told the receptionist that I had just called and did not want to speak to customer service and wanted to speak to someone in the corporate office and again, she placed me on hold and forwarded me to customer service. Apparently, the receptionist doesn't care about her job enough to make the customers that are paying her salary happy. Is this how the corporate office feels, as well? Let me know.

After being hung up on 3xx I finally spoke with Dob in Columbus, OH. Order # 2016-0416-2005-8125. First time sent wrong items. So the phone calls today - The first two customer service people were quite hard to understand- asked for a manager - call disconnected. Called again a few minutes later with the same question - disconnected. Finally got to Dob. I gave the item number, quantity, color I requested. Along with the coupon code TRUSVNGS; she said she had it and put it on the order. To my dismay - not on the email to confirm the order. I was annoyed enough with the hangups, but not getting the coupon put me over the top. If the items were not eligible say so on the phone. I have found jcponline a difficult site to deal with and your customer service call center is lacking in good customer service. There was so much noise in the background no wonder she could not hear. I await 2/15 - 2/19 to see if I get the correct items within the promised timeline.
