Emina Jahovic is a Serbian singer-songwriter, model and actress. Born and raised in Novi Pazar, she rose to prominence through music festivals. She made her recording debut in 2002 but acquired commercial success with her third record Vila in 2008. Then she released five more studio albums. As a result of her album Vila, Serbian media also gave her the nickname of "Balkanska vila" (Fairy of the Balkans).
