Dr. Krauthammer: If you vote a write-in you will cast a vote for Hillary. Trump may be loose cannon on deck, but at least a loose cannon will clean a deck. Hillary is a gigantic hole in the side of the hull. I'll never understand why conservatives can not get together, regardless of differences, when it comes to eliminating the important opposition. The Democrats seem to know how to do this Successfully. The objective is to defeat Hillary so as much as you dislike Trump you will personally feel better not to vote for him and thereby help the enemy. This not about your feelings or philosophy, this is about our country. Please reconsider. Warm regards,

Fred.

KIt is of my most humble opinion that Mr. Krauthammer is rather knowledgeable, well mannered and straight forward, we need more talented people like Mr. Krauthammer.

Dear Sir, I've always thought very highly of you until what you said to Bill O'Reilly regarding you not voting for Trump. Trump was not my first, second or even third choice either, BUT when I think about if Hillary Wins, she will be the one to replace Justice Scalia and perhaps several more, well there is no way that I cannot vote for Trump, or not Vote at all
Sir, if you decide not to Vote for either, well sir, you will still OWN IT if Hillary Wins and chooses one, two, three, four or more Supreme Court Justices You will OWN THOSE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES THAT SHE WILL CHOOSE YOU WILL OWN THOSE SIR
Your words mean something to a lot of people and when you say you may not even Vote, well many meaningful people will go along with that,, but they will never consider the ramifications of making that choice Sir, it is all about the Supreme Court, nothing else matters Sir.

Mr. Don GlynnJun 15, 2016
My wife and I are Republicans, and have been so all of our lives. We are 78. These last few months have left us badly conflicted. We both find Trump an inappropriate joke with no substance,, but shutter at the direction Hillary will take us. I thought I had the problem solved after hearing Dennis Prager on one of his radio shows. Dennis reminded his audience that FDR formed an alliance with Stalin during WWII, joining hands with one monster to defeat a lesser one. I would hold my nose and vote/root for Trump. (Of course, living in California, our votes are only symbolic. )

Then came Trump’s excoriation of the “Mexican” federal judge. My list of reasons for disliking Trump just became longer. I appreciate your words, “…I cannot imagine ever voting for him, ” and “For now, we have our conscience to attend to. ” Yes, Charles, there comes a time when principle “trumps” everything else. I will vote in November,, but will not cast a vote for president. DonGlynn.

Dear Sir, From my distant, Brussels () home (for how long still ?) I am following tthe US presidential campaign's shenanigans with mixed feelings. To say the least. But this is not my point. Two questions, firstly, where does Mrs Clinton get her outfits from ?
And secondly if she finally takes the fall what is the danger of beans getting spilled. ?
About the occupants of the White House, over Senators, Congressmen etc., over her Foundation's contributors. ?
Would this Damocles sword not give her some kind of immunity ?

Thank you in advance, looking forward to your clear views,
Ps. Congratulating you for brilliantly dispassionate presentations

BobLow.

Just read Krauthammer's article concerning Bernie Sanders. Very interesting and enjoyable. Not too surprising since I have liked all of his work that I've seen.

Mr. K. A Belated Thank You. I meant to write you after reading your article regarding your brother's death in 2006. It reminded me of my summers in 1950's Detroit--of paying pick-up sandlot baseball from morning to night no matter how many guys showed up (2 guys=fungo, three guys=batter, outfielder (opposite field-out) and official pitcher/infielder/umpire)--of riding bikes thru woods (yes, woods in Detroit at that time), up and down alleys and to any girl's house if she could be coaxed outside to chit chat. I was gratified to see that you chose your brother's story as your first article in 'Things That Matter'. Ever Fate, BobRosin (p. S. Al Kaline didn't need a cut-off man. ) Thanks Again.
